A Small Failure in Medium — More to Come?
I have been writing a daily blog since January 2006. When I read in my NY Times (I get a daily delivered hard copy in my Vancouver) all about the wonders of Medium I instantly started modifying some of my blogs to make them less local (Vancouver) and more universal. Medium has a neat import tool for blogs. It is easy to use. Every once in a while it would not work and I would wait for a few hours. The Help Desk “Your Friends” from Medium have always been quick to respond to my queries on problems. They told me that the blog importing tool involved an exterior server that was not a Medium server.
The importing tool has now not operated for two months and “Your Friends” do not answer my questions anymore.
What I liked about the import tool is that once the story was publishied I could instantly place it in Twitter and Facebook.
What is happening with Medium? Too successful? I am ignored because I do not upgrade and pay?
