As a retired male magazine photographer and writer I have been fascinated with the idea that women see differently and for me (more important) have a fresher capacity in their imagination to photograph the erotic. My first realization that indeed in some cases this happened when some years ago I saw a film by Canadian (I live in Vancouver) Lynne Stopkewich called Kissed. The film is based on a story by a marvelous Canadian writer called Barbara Gowdy. I wrote three blogs about this. Below my photograph of Lynne with the terrific actress (I am old fashioned) Molly Parker: http://blog.alexwaterhousehayward.com/2016/07/objectivity-subjective-invention-of-man.html
