Dear Rae, I enjoyed your essay for many reasons. I am now a retired (77 years old) magazine photographer. I have now blogged 4875 times. My blogs include many of the photographs I started to take when my Canadian wife and two Mexican-born daughters arrived in Vancouver in 1975. My interest in the female form was executed in those early days by my acquaintance and friendship with our local strippers which were some of the best anywhere. My other interest in you is that I have a wonderful 22 year old granddaughter lost for the time being with her addiction to pot and that she has a diagnoses Borderline Personality Disorder. She refuses to accept this and will not go to any therapy. Her mother is heartbroken. We were planning in going to NY this January (we did this two years ago) and taking her. But I cannot get her to first base which is to help her get her Canadian passport.
