I have no idea if you Indira Reddy may be of Hindu ancestry. My father was an English journalist in Buenos Aires in the 40s and early 50s. But he also worked for the brand new Indian Embassy there as a translator. One day he decided to invite his Embassy office friends for lunch. They arrived in a Hillman Minx ( a car my street friends had never seen before). They all wore turbans. None of us had ever seen anybody like that before. And of course, my father who was a very good cook, served them curry!
