I tell my friends that Nikon and Canon are soon to come out with a camera that has a built-in phone. They believe me! Five years ago my wife forced me to buy a digital camera so I could travel without the hassles of airport security and film. It was and is my Fuji X-E1. I also have an X-E3. But I shoot film with Nikon FM-2s and with my Mamiya RB-67. I have never taken a photograph with my present Galaxy.
In actual fact my first digital camera was an iPhone3G. I am unable to convince or explain to my photography contemporaries on the wonders of a dedicated iPhone3G without a SIM Card. Somehow the effects from this my first digital camera cannot be imitated by “better” phone cameras.
