I write for Medium as an extension of my daily blog (Since Jan 2006). A blog is a personal endeavour, particularly one in which no comments are accepted. I sometimes make my Vancouver, BC based blogs more general. I also write in Spanish. But I do not write for acknowledgement of any kind. My two older daughters (48 and 44) say that thanks to my blog they have found many things about my life and their life that they may have been embarrassed to ask. So I don’t rant about all those Medium essays of lists and how to do this or that better. I simply write. And by writing every day you get better or perhaps it just flows even if it is not better. Writing for yourself is what counts.
