On December 23, 2016 our 2007 Malibu (the best car we ever had) blew the valves. I was told that a new engine would cost more than the car was worth. We needed a car immediately. I almost convinced my wife (who wanted an Audi and we had many of those in our past) that we were going to buy a loaded Chevrolet Cruze. This we did with the help of the persuasion of my eldest daughter who is practical.
It was most stressful but now we have the problem of telling our car to shut up. It is supposed to be intelligent.
